It is almost totally dark, and then something huge jumps out at you, and you cant really tell what it was. The creature keeps jumping out at you, and you think it might be trying to attack you.
What do you do?
I stomped on it, and it turned out to be a frog.
What would you do in such a case?

hope that i was wearing shoes, nothing worse than wearing just your socks and stepping on something. barefoot ok cos you can wipe it off, but socks go to be cleaned and getting chunks out is gross.
id also hope it wasnt poisoness and i just got a foot full of poison
Buy a flashlight. The frog didn't deserve that, but you are also lucky it wasn't someting dangerous. Knowing your environment would help you deal with it best, and in this case, light was probably all you needed.

i would prolly cry, i hate killing things unless they're spiders. of course i prolly wouldn't have stepped on it in the first place. i would wait until i knew what it was. i'm the kind of person, if i get really spooked by something, i back off until i know what it is for sure.
A friend of mine was driving along one night and came across a large patch of road where there were literally thousands of frogs all humping in a mass frog orgy. The noise was apparently incredible, sort of like -
"uhh, ribbit, ohhh yeahh, ribbit ribbit, do it baby, ribbit, croak"
I was very disappointed to hear that my friend (who was in rush) drove right on by and squashed several hundred of the little fuckers!

Since I wear these huge 3 pound stealtoed boots i probably would have kicked it. (those boots are great for fending off amorous assults by small critters like dogs, cats, frogs, kids...) Poor stupid frog.
Dumb Frog, My girlfriend drives around and will steer into oncomming traffic to avoid a frog, she isnt a bad driver or anything, just has a soft spot for frogs. I woulda jumped in the other direction, however I would have had my trusty zippo handy to shed some light on the situation (pardon the pun)
Would depend on whether or not I was thinking at the time, I guess. I almost always have a flashlight with me somewhere, so if I'd have thought to bring it out I guess I'd be set. Though if it really surprised me I'd probably have stomped it too just out of instinct.

i did the same thing only it was daylight and a bird but the bird was camoflagued in dead leaves
yep frogs like there orgys you should see then all piled up at the bottom of the pond in spring
