Writing Letters

Taking the idea from another thread (Charles Manson & Co.) does anyone, or has anyone ever written to convicted criminals in prison? What sort of reaction have you had?

I used to write to a few, but the correspondance tailed off in every case - one because they started getting demanding and two because they haven't the time to devote to letterwriting!

Yea, I have alot of friends currently incarsirated(sp?) & i've been locked up myself so I know how important letters are. sometimes the're all that keeps you going you know.
