ebay...
Or used camera stores.
I'd sugest a Nikon or a Cannon.
A lot of people will be dumping their old 35mm cameras,
as they switch over to digital. So you should be able to get
a decent deal.
some place like walmart, or best buy. they have great cameras. they're pretty well priced too.
Pawn Shops. I've seen reallly cheap minolta and nikons for about 50.00 with like 2 lens' a nice leather case. Mind you that is canadian so maybe a bit cheaper in us funds.
I'd go for eBay personally, but you don't get the chance to hold and feel them first. Pawn shops are also good, at least you can get them in your hands and try them out. I'd go to a new camera shop first and see what you feel comfortable with and then try to get it through a pawn shop or online.
I like Canon equipment. Heck, they should give me an endorsement, now that I think about it. I could have bought health insurance, but I bought Canons instead.
omg that could be their add campain just a pic of you with your broken ankle and a camera with the caption " I could have bought health insurance, but I bought Canons instead" you would also have a thumbs up :1orglaughQuote:

Yeah but even with 6.1 megapixels thats gotta be one hell of a clear picture, I'd love to see 16 or 18 Megapixels they would be flawless.
Not necessarily. A lot of companies are producing cameras now with megapixels upon megapixels but no improvement in the quality of the result. The number of megapixels makes little real difference (except to sales), a lot depends on how small and close together the pixels are as to whether the picture is then clear and sharp or not.Quote:
