Re: Real life ghost stories
Thats awesome, Here is another creepy one for ya ontop of my onions one.
I lived with my grandparents after we sold the house with the crazy onions, My grandfather was a wwII Vet and would go out neaerly everynight to the bar in our town and come home slightly drunk but generally in a good mood, Id be up and he would sit on the edge of my bed and tell me stories about the war. It was somewhat calming and I would usually fall asleep within 20 or so minutes. But my grandpa was a big guy and the matress would give quite abit under his weight and it was noticeable seeing the matresses in my grandmas house were about 20 years old. Anyways he ended up having a heart attack and ended up in the hospital. he was in there for about 4 days and I went and saw him every day untill one day I opted not to go and actually go to school, (somewhat of my grandmothers decision) so I came home and found out he had died, depressing and thinking (once again i was young) that becasue I hadnt have gone to the hospital he died ( i donno) Anyways that night I creid and cired and cired and didnt get to bed for hours and hours untill I felt that familiar give in the matress all of a sudden, it was strange and just then I knew that he was there to comfort, and i fell asleep immediately.
Re: Real life ghost stories
ok my second story:
this one happened like not even 3 months ago.
My cousin Ronnie, was really sick for a long time. All sorts of problems like dyalisis *cant spell* and stuff, he was real bad. well all day he had been saying he didn't feel good. No one thought anything about it, cause he never did. Well, my aunt annie *not really my aunt, his widow* came home from work and he was laying down. Around 11 or so that night he got up to go to the bathroom and said he hadnt felt good, and he was gonna go to the bathroom, and then to bed.
He wasn't even in the bathroom for 5 mins when he called to annie that he had to go to the hospital now cause he was going into congestive heart failure. she helped him into the kitchen and he leaned over the sink and he spit up blood. so she called an ambulance and Jimmy *their son* to come down to help get him into the recliner in the living room. so him and a couple of his friends got in into the chair. it wasnt even a minute and then all this white froth like stuff and blood came pouring out of his mouth, his nose, and everywhere on his face. they tried everything they could but he was dead before the EMTs got there.
About a week or two after the funeral, they were all in the living room and all the lights started flashing on and off and all the appliences came on. for no apparent reason. this has been happening ever since. * i won't go to their house at night*

Re: Real life ghost stories
My dad had "his chair". Ya know, the chair no one else was allowed to sit in? Well anyways, He was real sick and he died just before I was 16. Like I said, he was real sick for a long time, so as much as a 15 year old kid can, I guess I had time to prepare for it. I was really taking it okay for several weeks. Then one day, I got to looking at that empty chair sitting in the living room and it made me really sad. Well, eventually I went off to bed. I woke up at like 3:00 in the morning and I was thirsty, so I got up to go get a drink. Well, you had to walk past the living room to get to the kitchen. I got my drink and went back toward my bedroom and once I was past the living room, I realized that Dad was sitting in "His" chair. Now mind you, I am not dreaming this, I am full on awake. Naturally I kinda question myself, so I go back to the living room, and he hasn't moved an inch. It wasnt like his ghost was sitting in the chair, but like HE was, solid as he could be. I must have stared at him for a full minute, trying to rationalize what I was seeing. During the duration of this episode, "He" took no notice of me, but he did sip on his screwdriver (no doubt Stoli and Minute Maid) as he liked to do. Finally I snapped out of my stare and went to my moms room and woke her up to ask her if I was actually awake. She said yes, and I went back to the living room and He had not moved. During all this, I didnt feel scared exactly, but just kinda shaken. Not knowing what to do, I just told him that I still loved him, turned around and went to bed. I laid there for a while kinda waiting for something to happen, but it didn't. Finally I got up to see if he was still there, but by then, all I saw was His empty chair. Then about two weeks later, Mom tells me (after several glasses of wine) that she would swear that she caught a glimpse of Dad sitting in His chair the night before.
Re: Real life ghost stories
These are all really great stories! I have contacted my father, and my girlfriend after they died. I had a sort of preminition dream about my cat dying.
I got so obsessed with death and meditating and wanting to be with my dead father that "THEY", sort of told me that I would have to live. They told me that I would have to go back into the real world and really live...
I mean, I didn't eat any meat or animal protein, hardly spoke to anyone, just would walk in the mountains and I had this place by a waterfall, where I would just sort of try to conjure up my father and my dead friends. It really was like a drug, an escape.
Finally, when my mother was just about to die, I escorted her up to heaven, I swear, I took her there.
Then after that, I knew that I had to stop, it was just all too much for me. So New York is the perfect antidote for too much spiritualism!! Ha!!!

Re: Real life ghost stories
It's terror. trust me, beeen there. Maybe if you tried not to focus on the fact that shes dead? that might help. If she hasn't tried anything to render her a poltergiest *ghost that can make weird things happen and maybe even harm you*, then you really have nothing to worry about. But, maybe it has nothing to do with what you have to tell her? maybe its just her way of telling you she still loves you and she ok?
Re: Real life ghost stories
wow i really can't spell tonight. sorry. no more pain killers for me
