I saw the trailer for the film, and it looks REALLY good!! Can't wait to see it!! I have the CD, and I have seen the stage version. It's not Sarah Brightman and what's his name, you know the famous Phantom.... Michael...
But the film looks really great, opulent cinematography... I am sure I will see it a couple of times and buy the DVD.
Any Phantom fans out there?

I love the phantom, ever science i was a kid, the story is just great, there's and old movie can't remembre the year but it was a nice movie. and the music it's just great

Never heard of it before, but I just checked an online map and looking at it, I have probably been through there a couple of times while doing a part time unpaid work experience job (finished 2 weeks ago). I've been in Edenbridge and Marsh Green looks like it's right next to there. I'm usually up Northeast in different parts depending on the day. :)Quote:

Phantom is a great play/story/musical.
I wasn't too thrilled with this one movie they made. It was a fictional story loosely based on the original. I was totally deceived. I'm curious about the new one anything would be an improvement.

I saw it!!! I LOVED the actor who plays THE PHANTOM, really handsome, and he sings not quite so flowery, more like a rockstar. I am a big Sarah Brightman fan, so the Christine was OK, no one can compare to the original Sarah Brightman.
I forgot how SAD this story is, I felt so sorry for the Phantom. He is a really good actor, you really feel for him. It is worth seeing just for him, and also it is a BEAUTIFUL film, really opulent. Oh, and I THINK Baby Spice is in it!! I could be wrong!!!!

i saw the movie last night, it was my cousins birthday and she's a die-hard fan of the play, so i took her to see it. i loved the cinematography, the costumes and the settings of the movie... oh yes and i LOVED the music... but the lip singing was aweful and completely off at times, and some parts carried on too slow, but other then that i enjoyed it. i would have enjoyed it more if i wasnt worried that i forgot to lock my car doors...it turns out i didn't forget.
