I don't mean that I hate the Xmas spirit or anything. I just don't like taking days off very much and it pisses me off endlessly to have so many things I can't do because the rest of the world decided to be slackers all at once.

yea , i had alot of shit to get done and everything was closed ,even WAL-MART was closed, who would of thought the company that is going to co-take over the world would close for christmas.......damn.......
As one of the slackers i must say i love it.
since moving from a small city to a big one, Christmas day, i was surprised to see as many stores and such that were open as there were. *big city shock still in progress*
I think its good to be able to just forget about work for a few days and be with the people and do the things that really matter. I hate the way that somehow, taking 3 days off creates 5 days worth of work when you go back.
I know. I like it really better BEFORE Christmas. Christmas was kind of a PMS letdown. I was SO tired. I slept for about two days. Sometimes I cannot believe how tired I get here in Manhattan.
But Jeff's daughter just lOVED her Barbie Bed that I gave her, and we all went out to Sushi...
But the day after, the real Christmas day was kind of bleak. I mean, I really don't have any family, they are all dead, so it is inevitable that I get a BIT morbid, especially during PMS!!!! I hate PMS... Why can't I just feel perfect all the time?
I still love the holidays :) I hate not making it out to the west coast, but I like the spirit I've had around me.
OEC
well I hope it wasnt to bad for ya atleast you got some rest??..Quote:

I'm thinking of taking a ten day break to deliver Red Cross parcels to Russia next year to get rid of a few days too, and perhaps a few days off in Poland; and then one or two other educational courses ... Even so, at the moment, I have 34 days to lose over the next 12 months.
