Trillian was, of course, in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It was a nickname, short for Tricia McMillan if memory severs correctly. I should read that book again.
That's what I was going to say :) Yeah, it was Tricia McMillian and she was an astrophysicist, at different points she got married to a rotary club chairman, had Arthur Dent's child, got eaten by the bugblatter beast of traal and got blown up along with the whole of Earth.. :cool:
