This may seem pointless, but this will help torwards my future posts, sort of.
You're overthinking this dude.
General rule of thumb...if you have multiple things you want to ask and they tie together theme wise...then ask it in one thread. This way more people can give their 2 cents and it's generally more interesting.
The other...if a thread you started has had no responses for a good length of time...let it die. It died for a reason. When you bring back dead topics you bury other threads prematurely and unfairly.
The FAQ brings up most of the major "rules" but the ones I mention are pretty universal.
What exactly is it about my posts that make them so stupid?
Weird is not spelled ie.
The posts people are interested in, they will probably respond to. Could you possibly be any more self-centered than to start a poll about your own posts? That is just fishing for compliments and is unlikely to work out well. I don't know Tequila Zaire, but that was some good advice that you ignored by bumping this thread.
I offer my deepest apologies, but no, I was not fishing for compliments. I was curious about what people had thought about them.
Honestly, to me, the "What do you think of me/my posts.." posts tell me that you're not really that confident and you care a little too much of what others think of you. It's great if you want to get advice, but when you get good advice but don't follow it, it shows that you are not learning, growing, and letting it go.
Well, I was letting the post die, but then I logged on this morning, and there it was again, so I replied back to it.Quote:
