What did you do for New Years?

Forrest and I went to Vegas and saw fireworks and actually got to relax some. It was the 100th birthday of Las Vegas and they shot off fireworks simultaneously from like ten hotels on the Strip at midnight. They weren't able to do some of the centennial effects they planned though because of the high winds. On the plus side, for us, the rain meant that the drive out was really easy.

Didn't take too many pictures for the first few days of the trip, so I guess this is a rare occasion where some of what I do in Vegas stays in Vegas.

Boy, I'm just rockin' out there... hahaha...

I kinda like it...the play on size and scale is the highlight.

I can't believe it was cold and raining!!! I always imagine Vegas to be hot and dry like a desert!

Vegas is a great choice for New Years!

I spent NYE playing guitar with a friends band at some divebar...

Then it was the Mummers Parade in Philly!!

I've spent a few new years eves in Vegas, including the insane 1999-2000 year, but this year I went to Maui instead.

We rented a condo in Kaanapali a few years ago on New Years, twas fun:thumb:
