Coredumper was amused when I listed the qualities I look for as follows: "People in different cities I can just hang out and have fun with. People who are interested in the world around them. People who do not believe intelligence, decency, and fabulousness are mutually-exclusive qualities." There are, of course, detail things I look for, but those are the broad strokes. How about you all?
Loyalty, Honesty, Compassion, Companionship, Caring, Considerate, Polite, Friendly, Fun, and lots of other Awesome Qualities.

Like to have fun, not judgemental, not envious, not jealous, know what they want rather than thinking they want whatever their friends have. I don't mind buying the beer but I'm going to go with must be able to take a joke too. Good-looking and female a plus.

Well, obviously they have to be fun to be around. Respect for mutual interests. Mutual support. It's hard to quantify when you really think about it.

I don't look for friends at all. the people that are my friends are my friends because I've grown to trust them.
Non judgemental, honest, and people who DONT FLAKE OUT. I hate flakes. *grrr* Like when you make plans and have them for a week, and that night they say they have to back out without calling you or letting you know so you can change your plans. Oh man;[

I need people to tell me the truth, at all times. If you lie to me and I find out about it, it's the last time you will be talking to me. I am not big on friends and that is one reason for it. I've always had more guy friends, and they were all platonic relationships. I also can't stand people who lie about their lives and expect me to swallow it as if I don't know what is really going on.
i look for someone of similar interest, even if its not a part of my life style i welcome similar interest... such as the fact someone who does something with thier life not just sits around (but i have friends that do that too)
