OK, let's just say, IF and or maybe WHEN you go to the Academy Awards, what will you wear? Would you totally goth out? Would you wear a nice tastefully elegant designer gown or tuxedo?
Which designer would you wear, if you had all the money in the world? What dress would you wear?
I think I would get John Galliano to design a bias cut satin gown, really low cut to show off my new tattoos, and maybe echo the design of the tattoo witht the dress design.... What color? Not black... Too boring.
Y'know....I think that I would totally just go in Jeans and a Lumberjack shirt. why? Because (and no offence to people who like the glamourous lifestyle) I just don't believe in that horrible waste of money that is an awards show. Ok, it's fun to guess the winners...it's great that people are rewarded for outstanding work in their field.
BUT...(here is the but)...BUT....how much money do those people spend on their outfits? How much does that red carpet cost? How much money is being spent on that single night? And how many good causes really need that kind of money? How many animals or children could be fed for the price of one of those gowns?
Ok, so I sound like a Hippy...don't get me wrong..I love a good party....I just feel so bad when I look at movie stars with Millions of dollars...living in 20 bedroom houses....spending thousands on a dress they will only wear 1 night...and then I look at the state of the world. Ok, enough preaching....

I think I would go long, silky...transparent to show off my tattoos, black dress, elegant goth. Of course I'd have to make a minor statement by wearing some kick ass boots with that elegant dress....lol.
I wore Dolce & Gabbana when I was a presenter at the FAB DO. I could see looking to them again. Something with black but not all black. Pattern but not overwhelming pattern. A little gauzy and body conscious.
