If you want to get technical then it's Fantasy Art.

That IS the style.

What exactly are you asking by "Style"? The artist has his own "Style" when it comes to creating the work, the genre he works in can be argured to be its own "Style" and same goes with the materials he uses to create it.

He is the master of fantasy art, although I believe he is for the most part retired these days.

fantasy, looks like something you'd find in an RPG book. If anyone cares or is into comics check out Poison Elves by Drew Hayes. Good Fantasy art. (sorry, I'm a comic geek)
