i have had some enjoyable valentines day celebrations but i hate feeling obligated to have an extra romantic day on one specific day. what if that day is not convenient for me or for the person i am dating? does that mean the relationship is ruined or the year is ruined? i hate the pressure. i think it is hallmark just trying to make a buck. i'm all for making a buck but i still hate that.

I look at the poor fool stressing to get the right gift so he can get some booty...uh uh no thanks I am glad I don't have to deal with it....the emotional stress everyday you love the person but on valentines you feel obligated or something I dunno..it's soo wrong...one of my big question when i meet a girl is...what is your opinion of Valentines day...if they go of like a machine gun of romatic notions I usually will get up and walk away.
It upsets me because it seems like a no-win holiday. I always feel really not happy at Valentines, yet a large part of me wants the boquet/jewlery/nice dinner. I think that it would be nice if Valentines could somehow not be the sort of holiday that shunns single people into more misery, and not be all about who gets the biggest boquet. Unfortunatly, an UnValentines celebration seems about as popular as my UnWedding idea. Oh well.
valentines day sux in 2003 I was in a bad car crash and my mom and dad came to see me in the hospital and they got into a fist fight and my dad beat the shit out of my mom right in front of me and I couldnt do anything but watch.. one of my many bad memorys when it comes to Valentins day
