ok, here's a nice ,"light", thread to break up all the government stuff.......again,haha.........
I'm sad to admit i've have never really listened to The Damned
but i got on of their songs,oddly enough called "democracy" hahha, but i've been listing to it alot.......
so if you have listened/still listen to The Damned what's a good Album to get.....i've heard some of their stuff is better than others.....

I like The Damned :) I can only remember having a compilation album tho. The Best of The Damned I think it was.

I always thought Ferris Bueller's room was cool cuz it had a Damned and a Killing Joke poster.
for some reason this made me think of TSOL. I like them better than the damned.

The Damned are without a doubt my favorite band of all time. I cannot say enough good things about them, of course that just shows my age i guess.

Well, for a great live recording go with "the Peel sessions". but for a great recorded album hmm.. Phantasmagoria, or Strawberries are both great. if your looking for maybe a more broad view of ther style i would strongly reccomend picking up "The light an the end of the tunnel". I've been a fan of The Damned for nearly 2 decades...
Sanctuary- 28 gothic anthems (2 cd set) The song (The shadow of love) has got to be one of the best...it reminds me of a cross between goth and the blues brothers/roy rogers...Brilliant!
The reason I sugest this one...is the earlier stuff has one or three good songs on each album...this one , nearly every song is awesome..

They're playing at my old place of work some time in May, should any of you care to come along and molest the bar staff...
