goth comedians???

here in australia we just had what may be pretty rare, a goth comedy night!

heres the promo blurb:
Dark Jester is the world's first goth comedy showcase event that is completely for charity. Combining the best of Australian and overseas stand-up talent from the dark (and darkly inclined), Dark Jester is part of the 2005 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and is proud to announce that all proceeds will be donated to the Good Friday Appeal for The Royal Children's Hospital.

The night was a success, and everyone was in a mood for dancing with less bitching after the comedy. Mustve been the laughing earlier that elevated moods, with alcohol helping too.

I have some stand-up bits- to bad I can't make it to australia!!!

the stuff was usual stand up stuff they do, but there was the "goth" stuff like jokes about rammstein, how cool it would be if you could have hair on fire safely, how dog slayers become dragon slayers, lots of other stuff too much to remember.

a guy held up a microphone stand above his head holding onto the base of it and asked what it was? luke at the end of empire strikes back!! (you had to be there)

Lol Goth comedy! I can already see it...
