when i first heard the Cookie Monster was promoting healthy eating i thought it was a sick joke. But once i realized it was true i droped to my knees and screamed NOOOOOOOOO !!!!! while looking up to the sky for a sign of hope. :maxgne:It's good to see Blue Blood is also on the campaign to bring the old Cookie Monster back. :buttrock:
Yay! Thanks :) It is far and away the recent writing piece I am most pleased with. This one really came from the heart. I seriously checked the date of the info on Cookie Monster's new role when I first read it because I was thinking it had to be an April Fools thing.
I believe a radio station organized a (mock?) protest at a PBS station somewhere in SOCAL against the cookie monster changing his tune. They even handed out cookies in the protest footage I saw; the kids looked traumatized - possibly because of cookie monster's growing commercialism or possibly because they were being forced to eat cookies by their zealot-eyed parents.
Anyways, I'm off to file suit against the Girl Scouts of America for making me fat with Thin Mints. No matter how many I ate, I didn't get thin. Fraudulent advertising, dammit. I'll make millions.

Cookie Monster is my fave too...sad to hear they are making him go health conscious. Whilst I support the idea, you've gotta leave the legend alone :( !
BREAKING NEWS: Animal, the drummer for the muppets, just checked into the Betty Ford Clinic. Sources say that after the infamous sex tape scandle with Miss Piggy, Animal began abusing pixie sticks. He is said to have a 5 gram a day habit. More on this story on the 11:00 News. :D
I loved the article I actualy missed that news episode but I caught the trailer so I vaguely knew about that you got to wonder, dont people realize what a monster is anymore?
The Cookie Monster article is a really poignant, beautiful and humorous piece. I'd love to see more work like this. It really reminded me of the old days of BLT only more sophisticated.
