I recently won a 50 dollar scholarship check for Graphic Design in the student art show at Valley College in San Bernardino. It may seem simple to others, but to me it's a big deal because Graphic Design is my major, and I'm the only one that won in that catagory. So if anyone wants a cool design for a t-shirt or something, or you have a really cool idea for something and you can't draw to well. Let me know.
Major grats, hun. I think that's great. I'm into graphic design myself. I've never had the guts myself to enter into any contest for it, though.

i am going to agree with both Lady Alias and hewhoisagod and say that a) graphic design is rather awesome and b) any kind of money is always a very good idea. even if it is only the chocolate stuff you can buy in the confectionary stores.
wicked $50 buys alot of sharpies and sharpies are a necesity even if your not a graphic designer, i have about 46 sharpies in 13 diferent colors and diferent tips

But 50 dollars is alot...the supplies and stuff are expensive so that's great 50 dollars is fifty dollars but more then that is the aftc you had your artwork in a show and got recognition...it's one small step ina vbery long journey.
