...and all of a sudden like i feel something kinda brush against my ankle...not very hard mind you, very lightly actually, so i look down and lo' and behold there's a snake crawling over my boot....now i collect snakes so normally this wouldn't be a big deal except i'm in africa and there's shit around here that'll kill ya....so as i kinda stood there trying to get the attention of some of my fellow marines it slithers away...god i hate this place
i still plan on moving to Africa :1orglaugh .........one day....
haha...oh man that sucks...well hopefully it was nothing poisonous or at least sticks to hunting rats and other vermin. How long you gonna be in Africa for?

Eep, be careful. My grandparents lived in Africa for a while and I know there were a zillion things to watch for. (Part of my grandfather's job was helping third world nations utilize their leather resources.)
