A Question for Forrest and Amelia....
What inspired you or made you decide to settle on the name Blue Blood?
I realise the term's significance vis a vis royalty and noblemen, but I wondered if there was any special significance in you choosing that name?
Also, if you hadn't picked Blue Blood, what other names were in contention? :)
Re: A Question for Forrest and Amelia....
Frankly, I am not Forrest or Amelia and cannot speak for them..but I love the name. It gives an 'aire' of aristocracy...of being 'above' other genres. Yet with the 'alternative' content..its quite a conundrum. It fits perfectly and works well. Blue Blood...Not 'red' and normal..but aristrocracy of the mag crowd. The top of the top.
Oh well.
My 2.5 cents...but who cares what I say?
Re: A Question for Forrest and Amelia....
It's probably sci-fi related. Maybe idea camed from a Troma movie or someting.... evil psycho aliens sprouting blue blood.
Me like it anyway.

not only but also:
Blue = rude/obscene
Blood = goth
Love the name. Has an understated sexiness; you could say "I read Blue Blood" to your Domina or your aged grandmother and neither would blink.
Re: A Question for Forrest and Amelia....
you also have the literal definition of blue blooded - where a person is so pale that you can see their veins through their skin. peasants were spending their workday outdoors and were tanned, wheras the nobility were away from the sun and being pale and interesting.
i guess all those stately home visits have a point now...
Re: A Question for Forrest and Amelia....
Well, I am so lightskinned you can see my veins..which are greenish blue. Go figure...I'm a mixed kid an weird.
