Good evening world, allow me to introduce myself.....

Again, good evening.

Truer words haven't been spoken in a while. It is a good night. The moon isn't obscured behind the clouds (although that's appealling too), and even at 1:38 AM, there are a few idle ribbons of colour clinging feverently to the comforting darkness above.

My girlfriend is doing the night shift....so I'm home alone.
I haven't had this much blissful solitude in a year.

My name is Samuel - but Sam, Sammael, Samuel - I don't particularily have any preferences. I've been called a few other things in my life. Some good, some bad. My friends just call me Sam.

I was born one one of the top floors of the Royal Alex Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta. Deep in the flat nothingness of Western Canada. It has suited my purpose well enough thusly far in my life.

And that was nearly twenty-two years ago. It was early August, and there was an intense electrical storm that day. But no rain. Pity.

I've off and on been accumulating credits towards a psychology major/sociology minor in University. Whenever I can scape together the money needed to pay tuition.
And that I get from working my arse off at one of the nearby McDonald's. It's funny sometimes how a high school job can escalate out of proportion.
I manage the store now.

My lady is a tempermental little hellcat named Michelle. Somehow, she's gotten the nickname Meshoo. I think of some little white-furred Russian kitten whenever I hear that. And for those curious, she's not Russian - she's Italian.

Probably why I approve of fascism so much.

This is my attempt to reconnect to the world I left behind when I finished highschool and found myself awash in a cold sea of steel, despair and squandered pensions. Lovely how the world turned out.

Of course, this isn't all of me - I'd like to think of myself as a far more complex person than I can spell out in one simple post without boring everyone to tears ;).

I've been a member for but an hour, and I've posted eight times....this makes nine now. I think I'm off to a good start. Now I just need to wait and see how I'm recieved...;)
