ok...this seems kinda odd,but there's reason behind it....
what's the longest you've gone without human contact:ie hangin out with friends/calling them ,ect.ect....
that's kinda vague,but i can't really describe it,so let's just go with that....

ya...i went about 5 full days this past winter without any human contact (obviously outside of tv and internet). i work from home mostly, and just decided to spend the whole week there. I started talking to myself and looking in the mirror making faces too often.
That's being inside of course.... I dont get as weird if I am out in the woods. I've gone camping / hiking by myself for a couple days at a time.... i'm much more normal and calm when i rejoin society compared to being inside for any long duration.
3 months actually
When I moved to Arizona, I had no job, no money, no phone and didn't know a single person there. Other than the job interviews I went on, I didn't talk to anyone.
close....you just made me feel a little better.haha.....just a bit.....

if i spent 3 months alone, by myself.... well.... i dont think i could ever drive myself crazy.... but i'm not sure how many people would want to be in my company after that lol.

Well even after I got a job I still had no phone and everyone I knew lived in Michigan. Talk about social withdrawl, I thought I was gonna crack. Moved back to Mi. three months later.
I have never had any contact with humans. My friends are not human... Hah!!! Brain dead maybe!! But not human! Oh, and agents don't count as human either....
I just listen to the spirits of movie stars past. They are much smarter than humans...

I've only had patches of a few days with no contact at all.
Once when I was healing from my back tattoo, and just laid
face down on a bean bag for a week while it healed, and
watched tv...
But I have also had hermit phases, where I do not hang out
much, and I just go to work, and come home, and do not
go out and socialize. I did that for several years once.
I just got burned out on going out.
Breakups also tend to end up with a hermit phase.
You aren't usually in the mood to go out for a few months.
i disagree... after a breakup i usually have an overwhelming urge to go out to any bar, stay until the bitter end and find whatever drunk, single lady is still there to come home with me and make me feel like a man again. that's how my parents met... so why break tradition...ya know?Quote:

I didn't leave my house for 2 months once....not even on my front porch to smoke...didn't answer my phone or my door.but I had a roommate, so I dont know if that counts....call it agoraphobia I spose...or just paranoia....
I played counterstrike for 2 months straight...and smoked a lot of weed....hey maybe thats why I was paranoid eh?
When I lived in Little Rock by myself, I worked at a daycare. The kids there (2 years old) were my only friends. :(
I couldn't do it! They are wonderful at that age BUT ZERO conversation? I couldn't do it.
five months recently. five years so far in my whole life.thats why a lot of peolple I used to know say I remind them of a reptile. im not very emotional except for hate, love. and anger
about 10 months a few years back...all I did was watch movies. Upside was...I saw a lot of good movies....downside...it all felt like one long dream.
Hm, a pretty long time. At one point I was very reclusive... probably why I don't know shit about talking to chicks. It's all pretty fucking crazy, in the end; what we do to ourselves. Being stuck on the internet all day isn't very good for your mental health. I'd say about 3 days, though. It was enough to drive me nuts. Fuck IRC!Quote:

usually a day by myself is enough for me to start talking to myself, not crazy style, i just get bored and have to hear something
most days I wish I could go without people around Me, but alas, All I do is have people in the way daily

ditto, not sure why tho. Maybe that fulfills a social need without investing too much personally. And with a gathering you can leave quietly without any fuss if need be.Quote:
