Whats The Most Embarrasing Thing In Your Music Collection

this morning i was goin over my music collection and ive found a few gems :1orglaugh

ABBA--Definitive Collection, (its like a greates hits deal lol)

Enrique Iglesias--Escape, (i have no good excuse for this one altho i do dig his dads work alot with no shame :1orglaugh )

Will Smith--Big Willie Style,( i was a dumb kid at the time and i thought Big Willie sounded funny)

Emma Bunton--Free Me,(ok this one im not to ashamed of i actualy just bought this CD a few weeks ago this chick has a few neat james bond sounding songs and i think shes way better since she left the spice girls)

ok and il stop now and hopefuly have a shred of dignity left altho :1orglaugh

Dusty Springfield's Greatest Hits, Tom Jones and Englebert Humperdink, (no wait, I think I gave that to boy toy #2)... I love ABBA. Give me your ABBA CD if you don't want it...

I have a lot of shitty ablums now that I think of it. It's like, I like one song and buy a album for one track. For instance I love 'Life in the Fast Lane' by the Eagles and I love 'Electric Avenue' by Eddie Grant.

Two of the first records my dad ever bought for me when I was really young were a Dolly Parton one, not sure of the name, she was in front of a fountain or something, and the Grease soundtrack. Sometimes, when no one is around, I close the shades and shut my door and crank up Kylie Minogue. I try to play it off as cool, like someone just left it there or it was some sort of 80s nostalgia, but the album I have is fever... from 2001. sigh. Catchy pop. It's kinda like a Tommy Burger. No matter how bad it is, sometimes it is just what you need...

I blame my Dad as well, he's a country musician and got me hooked, even though 99% of all country music is pure agony to hear. I can't remember just how many times he would play her song " Me and Little Andy" to me, it was like brainwashing.

(my name is andy, so i guess he thought it was cute)

Somewhere around here I have a 'Sports Rock' compilation from K-tel that features all the standard stadium songs from the likes of Gary Glitter and such.

and thats about it. the rest is metal and industrial (im rebuilding my collectin after losing t all pawning it to make my ex fiancee happy.) with a couple of punk cd.s (the clash-blackflag-bad religion-electric frankenstein)

But i have an excuse for crappy pop albums. I was a dragqueen and there aint a lot of good metal done with chicks as lead or punk (save the distillers and horrrpops-evanescence was already taken)

My first record was Johnny Cash's (Then) Greatest Hits. I had Kenny Rogers The Gambler at one time. I first heard Garth in a cowboy bar in Montana :1orglaugh I may know a few lines of GREASE or a thousand. I'm not embarassed by anything in my collection. Here is the most embarrassing music I woul LIKE to have: I want a HEART CD, you know with all the hits like "Dreams" and "What About Love"... I used to have it, but lost it.... I love those videos too, with all the cleavage and big hair and false eyelashes, and that black panther. That must have been the set for Blade Runner, it looks like they got to use it... Probably did...

I have ravey-chill-space music in my collection. I have Chumbawamba but I never listen to them. I also have this Native American flute CD floating around somewhere and I do like it. And I have a Marilyn Manson CD that I do like to listen to but I'm ashamed of admitting it because I think he dresses up like that for shock value. *hide*

I don't think they're that embarrassing but i do have: Whitney Houston, Foreigner, Bon Jovi, Kate Bush (I actually really like her, no one else does though), Gareth Gates (maybe that one is a little embarressing) and probably a Hell of a lot more if I ever bother to look.
