Hi, I'm Molly

Hi, I'm just posting my intro thread here. I write for television, but I don't watch it. I live in a house with a yard just big enough for my dog. She is an Old English Sheepdog, but my husband and I keep her shaved because of the warm weather here. I used to go to cons a lot, but now I mostly sit at the computer, earning my daily bread and eating it. If I ever have time, I am working on a web site for adults who enjoy science fiction because I truly believe it is not just a medium for children.

Phillip Jose Farmer was the first science fiction author I read who was really writing for a mature audience. William Gibson's Neuromancer was amazing. Revitalized the genre. Harlan Ellison was really important to me when I was a teenager. So much of the best speculative fiction/science fiction is in short stories. Authors are more willing and able to take risks there.
