strangest meal you ever made (pic)
ok... I went trough kitchen to see what's available to eat... discovered 1 can of smashed tomatoes, rice, some instant indian sauce and a pickle....
I made rice with tomatoes instead of water.... plus spices (mostly curry) and so on... when it was done I just sliced picle inside :) and it tastes very good.... maybe a glass of yogurt will be good with it if I had some.....

Re: strangest meal you ever made (pic)
that looks really cool actually.... i can't post pics on here due to lack of a digital camera, but i make a lot of random food......like noodles and cheese is good...especially with feta cheese, just with anything else i happen to find in the fridge. plus i have a minor obsession with Thai food at the mo, so pretty much anything ends up in a stir fry or something.

wow, you got some kick-ass eyebrows bro.
hmm, nothing comes to mind right off the bat, but it usually involves peanut butter or mayonaise covering something starch based like tortilla chips.... next time i'm drunk and high and low on food, i'll remember this thread.

That looks good to me. I am vegan and poor so always come up strange dishes like that. I will think up some winners and perhaps post them later.
Re: strangest meal you ever made (pic)
yeah... do that.... need some more unique recepies......
once I made meatloafs with feta cheese and mayonase... I mixed it before puting it on fire....
Re: strangest meal you ever made (pic)
umm i like pasta toasties
Re: strangest meal you ever made (pic)
Okay, I'm not sure about the pickle, but that sounds yummy.
Re: strangest meal you ever made (pic)
pickle makes harmony in all that...
cold picle - warm rice
crunchy pickle - not cruchy rice....
It may sound litlle bit wrong with picle but it was perfect match....
Re: strangest meal you ever made (pic)
i still love pickles, vanilla ice cream, and peanut butter... hold over from pregnancy.
Re: strangest meal you ever made (pic)
I'm mildly allergic to pickles. Not enough to kill me if I eat them, but enough that if something has pickle in it, all I taste is the damn pickle. So no pickles for me. They're gross and rotted.
Anyway, I subscribe to the French version of impromptu cooking. That is: take something, put something else in it, cook until edible. Most of my inventions are of the "wonder what it'd be like to stuff a sausage with garlic and cheese and then deep-fry it?" variety. And by the way that sausage was damn awesome.
