demeter makes leather scented ones... i like those with the funeral home scented ones (white lillys and holy water).. but then i'm also partial to green apple and cinnoman
K
I make mos of the candles i have and use, but i realy like the vanilla scent, cherry and cinnamon. As for color i mostly make red, blue and black, and the old fashined white. In many shapes, my favorite is the pumpkin one, i use a muffin mold.
I tend to like the ylang ylang ones.
I'm not sold on the whole scented candle concept, which I class with flavored coffee beans. I like the smell of hot wax.
I dont like real strong scents..Or the damn candles that smell like food (Apple Pie, Etc) I like real light scents....I havent been able to find anything latley...
If you can suggest a really lightly scented candle...lemme know....
Colors are not important
Sorry about the double post, I really hate when I do that. Wicks and Sticks have nice candles too by the way. :D
Candles are one of life's greatest little pleasures. I enjoy Colonial candle a lot. They have some really nice scents, my favorites are: Merlot, Buttercream,White Cotton, Baby Powder, Orange Vanilla, Champagne.
I very partial to most scented candles. I do not prefer those that smell like solely vanilla, cheap perfume (Aunt Shirley).
I would have to get lots of candles together in order to decide.
I'm entertained by the leather-scented ones, but I generally stick with vanilla and ylang-ylang. Sometimes I will find something else I enjoy too, but then I often end up being allergic when I get it home and light it.
Damn typing while drunk... what I ment was:
Pacific Red Ginger- Red giner and grapefruit
My home is filled with black iron candel holders with red and white candels. Red because it looks pretty on pale flesh and white because the wax gets the hottest.
I have never come across those funeral home scented candles.I have only seen the perfume.I'll have to keep my eye out for those they sound great.

Damn.... this is really grave digging. I was going to start the topic.. did a search but let's give it a roll 2 years later. I just found 2 more scents from Yankee Candle that are wonderful. Vanilla Cupcake and Biscotti. I have to have my Aromatherapy.
White Spice from Colonial(Cape Cod), or vanilla - but as I'm a vanillaholic that's a given.
K never did explain what holy water smells like, did she.....

Colonial candle is great. I used to love their fig melon, it's seasonal.

Alot of things that remind me of the out door's .
i just by what i like dont look at Name's and stuff..
vanilla, burnt sugar, brown sugar, coffee, and theres this one that some companies make evey halloween which i just adore if zi can find it cus it's got a kind of soft musk scent to it and it's black. yay black candles!
Ididn't know about leather ones :D
I would love to test that... I just hope I don't need to order that...
i usually dont do the scented candle thing, i usually light candles and then burn incense for the aroma, i usualyu prefer traditional incense scents like musk and jasmine, oh and that incense that smeels like reefer, that shit is awesome.
I'm simple, I like the peach ones.
fuck do those things wake up my senses and put me in a good mood.
This thread got me sniffing candles at Orchard today when my wife and I went out pick up a few things. I think the one I liked the most was called 'Pralines & Cream', but I think if I had bought it and lit it, it would make me hungry.
I was thinking I should pick up some scented candles and enjoy them on occasion, but in my attempts to coax my wife to sniff some to find out what she liked, I gathered the impression that she didn't care for them too much.
hahahaha... get your self bacon'n'eggs scented candles :D
I love vanilla scented candles. Yankee used to make one called something like Midsummer's Night's dream that I loved. I like cucumber melon, lavender, usually single note so I can light them with others to make a mood.
I Hate Candles, They Are A Fire Hazard And They Take Oxygen From Your Air.
Yeah and so are cars but i bet you still driveQuote:

you know what I like are the neon drip candles. I used to make these real badass drip candle pieces with those things. I'd mix em with like black tapers or cross melt em with white or other neon candles. it would take forever to make a drip candle piece but it was so much fun.
wax is SO much fun to play with!!!
i should post pictures of my huge bowl candle that i made with all the leftover wax from random candles me and jamie had hehee... it was awesome... 6 wick candle... ginormous!
I once saw these real badass buddha head candles at target I wanted to get. I think they smelled like merlot or somethingQuote:
