ever watched FOX News Channel? or listened to "political" talk radio in the USA?
Not if I can help it. The right-wing bias is palpable.
how can you be bored when every other word FOX says in a lie! ;) ;)
if "political" talk radio" is NPR than yea, it's pretty fucking boring sometimes, but at least it's not all lies like FOX....
i try not to watch the news......its too depressing.
i'll read the newspaper rather than watch the news... never watch fox news, except for a good laugh every now and then at how incredibly biased they are.
depends on the newspaper, I know the one here is biased on what happens in town, and a lot of the public is letting the city pull the wool over their eyes. but for national or world news, I perfer the internet for info, from more than one source
I make a point to watch the news every once and a while, but not always the local news or even the big stations in the U.S. More or less try to watch the world events, etc, just to keep in tune with what's going on.
I get my news from the internet and/ the BBC and/or NPR
I only watch BBC or my local news here in the bahamas if i want to listen to the news, i find almost any other source highly biased and unreliable
I watch my local news.......and sometimes catch the national......we had a tiger mauling last week......stupid people...now I'm gonna have to get a license for my cat cause people are retarded.
Philly has 2 independant local papers that I read for local news and as far as national news I tend to stick to BBC and the Daily Show.
The corporate media in the US is a sham (particularly on International Issues) I generally go to source material and blogs for the area I'm researching.
OEC
I'm media-dead. It's difficult to separate the news from the opinions anymore. That, and there's nothing like a good dose of news to work up the old hate of all humanity again. Usually I have to watch commercials for that.
