well well well - watchmen is finally going to happen. None of the cast are confirmed, but the script is done and pi/requiem for a dreams Darren Aronofsky is going to direct it. Shooting is supposed to start late this year in prauge.
So, lets give them alll some help casting. Who would you like to be in it?

Movie almost has to be blasphemy, even if it is awfully good.
At this point in time I don't see the point. It just doesn't seem right. I feel that someone who had the rights feels that with the success of spiderman, x-men, and to a certain extent hellboy feels that now is a good time to make money off of it.

The really tough cast is Rorshach. Who's little, ugly, and mean-looking in Hollywood and willing to an ultraconservative psycho (with a heart)?
i'm kinda dissapointed that terry gilliam aint doing it - if only. birds would sing in harmony and we would all hug our neighbours. apparantly john cusack is slated to play dan dreiberg, and willem dafoe for rorschach.
With Terry Gilliam no longer attached I'm not as excited about it. But with this story scripts have been done before and things have never materialized...untill it's on the screens I'm skeptical it'll happen.
Hopefully it gets done though...
