i dunno i watch it sometimes when i have nothing better to do and need to kill time but thats about all its good for
i think its a hell of alot more fun to actually play it yourself then watching other people play. just my opinion though.
It's entertaining...it's not a new thing by any means it's just televised more now because it got trendy. It's like watching a sport...you watch to see the pro's.
If you like gambling, cards, or that style of entertainment there is much to enjoy. It has nothing to do with being fat and lazy...people watch all sorts of activities. Even I've attended assorted pool tournaments in the past. Fun times.
a lot of people use it as a tool. watching how other players react and how they would play the game. others watch it because its considered a sport now..minus the athletes. (is that even a sport then?) but whatever the case millions watch it everyday so they must be doing something right
