blah blah I know it's been told to death, but this paints a much different picture than what the media did. You actually get to see the people that were down there reporting in all their gear (and camera crew), as well as firefighters and police in force.
ya i saw this a few days ago. and he is right about the camera crew not knowing what they were reporting. they literally exaggerated a lot and made some stuff up on the spot. but thats the media for ya :)

Personally, I think this disaster is one of the first times in recent memory that the news teams did what they were supposed to. CNN changed their tag line to "It's what we're here for" for a reason.
I am skeptical of reports by supposed average joes who tell nothing of who they are, while claiming the "media" had it all wrong.
I take phone calls for fema and fdic. Some of these poor souls can't even get assistance that they were promised.
Half the time I just don't know what to tell the people why their hasn't come or what to do. This is alot closer than I thought i would ever get to the matter.
