Where do you like to get your world news?
www.shacknews.com
Not only do I get my world news from there, I also get my PC news, console news, and fresh updates on thousands of people's drama. Woo!
(Blueblood is a given, though, so I didn't put that. Wink wink.)
pretty much wherever I hear it. I figure if it's important enough someone will mention it. I don't really go out of my way to read the paper or watch the tv news, actually the opposite.

OEC
a mixture between msnbc.com, the BBC, nytimes and Drudge report. I like to sample the different levels of bias and objectivity of each.
daily show with jon stewart is great at the end of the day of taking in news stories.

It really depends on the subject...world news is a big topic after all. The BBC does its best but it's about as objective as Fox news...though I don't discredit either as much as their critics. These days with so many choices over nearly every topic under the sun...you gotta read many to get a somewhat accurate picture.
Some of the stuff I'm more interested in is simply a bitch to read up on...it's often buried in places people either forget or the info is released in such an uninteresting manner that it's ignored. Like the latest report on the Chinese Military...that gave me nightmares for a good week. No one covered it outside of military news sites...and they are rarely visited by the people who really should be reading them.
Weekly World News. where else?
google news
my mom usualy say what important happened... sometimes on local TV Teletext... sometimes on www.rotten.com on daily news reports :)
but mostly from newspapers
in descending order of credibility: /b on 4chan, usenet's alt.tasteless (good for celebrity death news - they run a deadpool in there), slashdot, Boing Boing and wikipedia. followed by the evening news on the local ethnic TV station SBS. then the evening news on the local government-sponsored TV station, ABC-2.
the odd thing about ABC-2 is that despite being funded by the gummint, they're usually the most critical of them. i understand Peter Reith and John Howard both nurture a very real hatred of Kerry O'Brien. which is reasonable, because most Australians living on less than $30,000 a year nurture a very real hatred of both Peter Reith and John Howard.
I use to like the BBC. But, I think I can say that the Economist is the only source of news for me at the end of the week. I get too much distortion from anywhere else. On the flip side, The Onion. :)
I am terrible. I live in my own fantasy world and ignore the world news. Until the buildings start to blow up...
i swear by drudgereport.
