Do you like to pay for things with your phone?

So we just added the ability to pay with phone or cell phone to GothicSluts.com and BarelyEvil.com and RubberDollies.com. We used to accept phone charges but had semi-discontinued it. Do you like to pay for things with a 900 number? Do you like to use SMS to make purchases? Anyone able to share an experience of how this can be a good or bad system?

It's not really something I'd be interested in.

never used one, but would the number not be limited to america? or would your european fans still be able to use it without long distance charges?

Somehow the phone system is supposed to be able to tell where you are located and display a method of payment you can use where you are. Not sure how it works exactly because it is still in beta for us.

Yeah, two. And judging by the sheer number of pre-approved applications I get in the mail anyone with a pulse could have 17 if they wanted......why?

Speaking as a professional rock musician I can tell you it was a long time before I had credit cards. Even after I was making a buttload of money I was not who the credit card companies wanted to hook up. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think phone billing is for people who don't have credit cards or don't like to use them online.

I don't think there are that many people who are still tense about using their credit cards online.

A lot of people don't have credit cards though. Obviously Blue Blood projects tend to speak to people who have at one time or another (or always) marched to the beat of a different drummer. Doing things in an unusual way sometimes makes it less likely one will have a credit card.

Also, European and Asian customers are more likely to want to pay with something other than a standard MasterCard or Visa credit card.

I don't think cell phone billing is even available in the U.S. yet, is it?

I pay for everything with my visa and the phone. Otherwise it'll never get paid
I go looking for the checkbook and I get side tracked.
