Meh I beta tested Anarchy online years and years ago. It was ok but just seemed like the vastness of it and the lack of...dunno something made it colorless to me. I am pretty much an addict of MMORPG and atm am on EQ2.
Guess there is nothing like playing a game with thousands of other people on. It is like playing a game and chatting in a chat room all rolled into one.
not anymore, Half-life and half-life 2 for a bit back in the day
EverQuest 1 and 2
I'm addicted to city of heroes
various free games on different servers, MSN AOL, Yahoo ect ect
i play runescape. sad but true.

i play alot of Wolfenstein Enemy Territory mainly because its free :D
have you heard that comic companies are trying to sue city of heroes for online players who play with a likeness of a trademarked superhero.
the starwars online game had a bug in it, when it was found out anyone who used it (accidental or otherwise) was transported into space to die.
sony has done deals with ebay to stop gamers selling content for use in their everquest series
theres an article around about people getting pissed off with online games and fighting back. (edge magazine oct issue 154, back pages article by tim guest entitled "stickin it to the man")
Well Sony is the first, but definitely not the last, to have people stop making money off their products via Ebay. Now mind you before Sony joined the MMORPG market there was Ultima Online and people sold stuff from that game all the time on Ebay. Hell castles (ones that only existed in the game) sold for $1,000+
But when Sony stepped in they saw people making money off their product and got offended. Did it stop it? Hell no. So now Sony is trying to incorporate it's own ebay style system inside the game. Is it legal for them to do this? Yup everytime you play one of their games you agree to their policies...
Craziest thing I have ever heard about large online games is the Koreans who get into large scale riots/fights over the results of Starcraft games hehe
gonna check out dopewars :)
but a little bit later... in a week or so :)
those koreans take games seriuosly, I guess
I heard it's allready a profession in Japan (tell me if I'm wrong) and you can make fat money out of it :)
I used to play alot of deckswabber and destructomatch on neopets until my grundo got sick and it became mor eof a had to do instead of just for fun. but mostly I play the freed eom of ganguro girl and have a few good hentai game links-was playing this weir done last night which was basically virtual paer rock scissors but in japanese...lol it kept souning like she was saying "drunken bombs!" between each match but im sure it was somhting like paper orck scissors in japanese. Ive heard of thecity of heroes game. im thinking of waiting for city of villinas to come out though before I buy any of the software. woul rathe rbe a bad guy than good guy lol

Interesting sheramil, gonna hafta mess around with that one while I sit here bored
guild wars... since i quit Star Wars Galaxies a few months back due to rabid jackassery from Sony. Possibly City of Villians soon... depends on if XBOX 360 decides to take up my time before then.
I'm admittedly addicted to Newgrounds.com .. I have spent hours there over the years...Which games? Depends on my mood really.. Some days I am in a mellow mood and play simple word/puzzle games. Other times I am feeling a wee bit on edge or just in a 'ftw' mood, that's when I play bloody gorey shooting games..*lol*
I have also been known to play online games at Yahoo, MSN and other places as well.
