Learning to Strip/Lapdance
So I have been practicing stripping/lapdancing for gorgeous wonderful boyfriend, and PULLED MY HAMSTRING MUSCLE... Ouch!
But I have a great dance to David Bowie's "Rebel Rebel!"! I watched Carmen Elektra's stripping DVD's for ideas!!!
But I am not much of a dancer.... But I think I have a pretty good routine. We will see what he thinks...
Any stripper out there have any exciting dance tips for me?

Re: Learning to Strip/Lapdance
Sorry I can't help you with any stripper tips, although it's was a pleasant suprise to see a post from you.

Re: Learning to Strip/Lapdance
Eye contact.
Expression.
Dancing is only half the job...

Re: Learning to Strip/Lapdance
I always danced the best when I didn't think about performing as much as just doing my thing. Not everyone is going to like it but if you're enjoying yourself that makes it that much better.
How is that Carmen Electra DVD? I looked at it on Amazon but can't decide if I want it or not.

Re: Learning to Strip/Lapdance
One time I saw a stripper, in the same 3-song session, perform to both "The Night Chicago Died" and "Sunday Bloody Sunday." It was basically the worst thing ever.

Re: Learning to Strip/Lapdance
You really shouldn't dance hard enough to pull something. I know a dancer who barely moves but the moves she makes are so graceful and full of expression that it's really sensual. the best teacher is a hula instructor, using every muscle to the fullest extent with out over doing it. I usually just dance to dance, even when I'm performing. hte idea I guess is to have fun. If you look good while having fun, all the better.

Re: Learning to Strip/Lapdance
Yeah, keep the fancy dance moves for the ballet.
It's supposed to be sexy, not aerobics.
Maybe that's the problem of following a stripping "workout" DVD as reference.

Re: Learning to Strip/Lapdance
I've been stripping for a living for a very long time now.... It's hard to explain movement in words with out showing said movement. so I guess I'll just say this: make eye contact, smile, and lots of physical contact.

I just rented all of them from NETFLIX!!! But they are REALLY hard, more like an aerobics class, and they tone down the sexiness. A lot of the things I just can't do because I just am not that flexible.
But she has some good moves and good ideas. I wouldn't buy them, but rent them if you can. She is a really good dancer.

Yes, the last DVD is jut too much like a normal workout video... I just sort have to "gothify" the whole thing... Take away the pink hoodies and track shoes and put in candles and corsets!

Yes, I am definitely trying to hard (and bending over WAY too far!!)... Hamstring feels a little better today because I have been resting.
I would LOVE to see you dance... I want to go out and watch some dancers.

Re: Learning to Strip/Lapdance
In one of the circles I run, there are girls who have gotten to learn how to do a dance online, so the imagination can take its views on how a dance would look, Im sure I can get some of their "dances " and post so You can see how a text dance is done

I didn't even know Carmen Electra had a how-to DVD out. I knew some people were looking to her for dancing inspiration, but I didn't know why.

Re: Learning to Strip/Lapdance
and that hula tip was really insulting, it's really fucking disgusting that people would degrade a time-honored traditional culture and use it as a way to get horny insecure guys off for money. I guess western "society" isn't going to stop until they've trampled over all aspects of the life of the native peoples.

She's a really good dancer, very flexible... But the DVD's are so mainstream, you sort of have to read between the lines and improvise.
So tried out the lapdance on HIM, he just LOVED it!!! The only thing he said was that he wanted to be closer, because I didn't really have a chair, so next time I will do it with him sitting on a chair.
I made tons of mistakes, like the silk scarf hooked itself on the closet rack, so I couldn't dance with it, used some purple tulle instead, also couldn't unzip my skirt with gloves on, so it took a while (he didn't notice or seem to care), forgot to do the leg kick thing on both sides of the chaise lounge. But he didn't seem to mind...
But it was a wonderful evening.... Sigh...

Re: Learning to Strip/Lapdance
still interested in a new style of dance to try?
-
Re: Learning to Strip/Lapdance
I still have the pulled hamstring, it just never heals because I do a new strip every time HE comes over... But it is fun, I am getting really creative with it. It seems the nastier you get, the better they like it!!! Next time I am doing all red with red lollipop!
-
Re: Learning to Strip/Lapdance

Re: Learning to Strip/Lapdance
I have a new strip/lapdance with a LOLLIPOP! The one I am licking in the Village Voice add! I actually bought the lollipop and the whole outfit for the strip tease, and ended up wearing it for the shoot.
But everytime I rehearse the strip I re-injure the hamstring muscle, no matter how careful I am!!
Oh well, it doesn't hurt that much...
-
Re: Learning to Strip/Lapdance
hmmm, you'd better let us massage it pretty soon... you don't want it getting any worse do you? :D

Re: Learning to Strip/Lapdance
skimmed but agree that the fancy stuff should be left out. once saw a stripper totally screw up her routine by being off by about seven inches. she was doing these badass flips and sommersaults and she was supposed to land and grab the pole but grabbed thin air and looked pretty dumb too.
-
Re: Learning to Strip/Lapdance
my x had a pole in his basement. he said it was "for fun" so i can proudly say i stripped at 12. wow that sounds slutty

Re: Learning to Strip/Lapdance

Re: Learning to Strip/Lapdance
Ok so I did the lollipop strip!! Heh! Heh!!! I seem to keep going after the music stops, get a bit carried away....
So it was pretty good except I put the chair too close and almost kicked him in the face!! Woops!!
I think that HE pulled my hamstring muscle, and I am NOT going to tell you how.... I don't think it is from the dancing...
-
Re: Learning to Strip/Lapdance
you mean he didn't massage it better?
how inconsiderate.

No actually when I told him that I pulled a hamstring muscle trying to learn to do a strip/lapdance for him he said, "Well that's the right idea, that means you are doing it properly!" He's tough... VERY spoiled...

Re: Learning to Strip/Lapdance
aaaw, that's so cute...
...you like jerks.
