Ok, so as a child I wanted to get into genetics, and start cross-breading things..
Like a Great Dane with a Chihuhua...
Change Sheep's DNA, so we could have natural steel wool
Take Bellevueites (Or any snob-town) and cross-breed them with Lemming.. and hopefully take them out of the gene-pool..
What are your ideas?
id fuse a kitten and a bunny, you could not even begen to fathom the cuteness overload youd get from that.

I could go for some Island of Dr. Moreau kind of human genetic splicing. It would be sweet to be able to inject some animal DNA to take on there charateristics.
I would create an anthropomorphic rock and make millions selling them as pets...wait a minute...pet...rock...DAMN!!! :doh:

A mouse with a chinchilla = a soft and super fuzzy mouse! Prolly do the same thing with rats so people would stop thinking of htem as "nasty" and start thinking of them as cute.
A porcupine with a rose bush. Just think an attack bush that actually throws its quills at its enemy. Great for planting under low windows as protection against burglers.

My genetic experiments would consist solely of making small things really big and big things really small. This is because I really really really really want a bear as a pet. If I can shrink it and ensure that any mauling done will not result in my death, then BEAR YAY.
They're so cute. And deadly. But cute!
Other than that: I'd enlage a guinea pig to the size of a hippopotamus, thus creating the World's Most Irritating Animal. I'd reduce a boar to the size of a small dog, and enhance the "run at things and jab them with tusks" instinct, and then set them loose in schoolyards. I'd make birds really big so I could ride them and poo on people from above. I'd make a man-sized butterfly so people can see how FREAKING FREAKY they really are.
But mostly I want my lap-bear.
