A GROUP of shoplifters chose the wrong victim when they struck a security appliance store.
The teenagers apparently did not see the lastest in surveillance equipment at OzSpy, in Elsternwick, and are paying the price.
The group's activities now feature on a television screen in the shop's front window.
A staff member said passers-by who recognised the group at the Glenhuntly Rd store were invited to come in and offer names to be passed on to police.
The staff member said there was the bonus of demonstrating the effectiveness of the shop's security equipment. "This is good promotion for our equipment," he said.

lol talk about stupid, the people need to be steralized so they cant spread the stupid genes

at least they aren't as stupid as the other australian robbers who, grinning, held the loot up to the security cameras on the way out.. long enough for the cameras to take good, long, clear shots of their stupid faces. they were caught almost immediately.

dum de dum. it seems to be the season for australians doing dumb things. in croydon - a suburb of melbourne i used to live in - a parking inspector at a shopping mall put a ticket on a car with a dead guy inside. he didn't notice. the guy had been dead for about a week.

dumb thing i did this week: ate a whole lot of this dry, scratchy italian bread. it doesn't say anywhere on the wrapper "this bread cannot be digested ever". i am discovering this only now.

I understand you're trying to make a piont, and maybe a joke...but statements like that in random places will turn this whole board into one big unorganized ramble about skinheads, or whatever...if you have something to say about skinheads, do so in the thread about skinheads.
...I know you probably ment well, but thread topics help keep order and order aids in a logical flowing conversation. :)
