Stupid Things You've Done When Suffering From Boredom

Have you ever done something soooo stupid during any family function or just for the hell of it because you were bored?


Like for example, I can remember a couple of thanksgivings ago.....Me, my cousin Danny, and my little brother Kenny were playing football in the front yard. Danny tells Kenny to go long. So Kenny goes up to the porch, and Danny throws the football to him, Kenny catches it, but he goes through the fuckin' front picture window. He lands on the couch, football in hand, without a scratch on him.

Then, me, Danny and Kenny were messing around on my aunt's garage roof in the heat of the summer. So we just shoved him off of the roof of the garage, right into the kiddie pool. This kid does a belly flopper from 20 feet off of the ground into a pool. Of course, we were laughing our asses off the whole time....

i bellyflopped into a rubbish skip and ended up with a pretty deep cut on my chest (scarred).

i climbed up some scaffolding outside a pub, was goona go down one of the poles like a fireman but i thought i heard my m8 say jump so without a thought i did (this was pretty high up, i think just over 2 storeys high), badly twisted my ankle and couldnt walk, apparently he didnt say jump... he didnt say anything at all :(

both times i was very drunk.... thats my excuse and im sticking to it

I have done too many to list, and try to remeber.. I however will never the one day.. oh wait nope.. can't incriminate myself.. something about bananas, noodles, and lots of something else...

I've injected "something" straight into my eye.

I got bored once and decided I was just going to shave my everything. Toes to eyebrows (I left my head hair alone). I even managed to shave off my eyelashes. Tip: don't do that, you need them not to get blinded by sunlight. And eyebrows look ugly coming back in.

Whenever I'm bored and walking, I pick a car on the road behind me, wait until it's right next to me, and sprint off trying to outrun it. I rarely do, though :(

I cut up my old shitty books and make new, slightly less shitty books.

But eh. Being the unpopular kid all my life, I've learned ways of keeping myself entertained. My subconscious functions as one long, never-ending story. It doesn't shut up, and if I ever want for entertainment, I can just lean back and dip my consciousness into it, listening to it ramble and run.

Well in the past I usually pick up boys I would normally not pick up when I am bored. And sometimes they end up staying, and it always ends badly. Boredom is not a good reason to start a relationship...

Reminds me of the Incarnations of Imortallity series by Piers Anthony. Where characters like Death, War and Time (Chronos) were just everyday people with unique jobs.

Fantastic series, and a great read. I would recommed it. :thumb:

Cool and yes..very brilliant imo. I have everything he has put out ,except for two of his Karate series, can't seem to remember the titles right now. He's been my favorite author since ..well...forever.

I once sat through a two hour introduction to Dianetics lecture, just to get the buffet breakfast afterwards.

It was a pretty fucked up week for me , the only problem is is that it is has pretty lame people in it , but in my interview I came up with the craziest shit I could think of to make them turn me down and all they said was "your not that different from us" and by then end of the day I was director of communications with my own office and access to all thier files , and for a week I couldn't get fired even when I'd politely point out to them that all the pictures of LRON were of him looking straight ahead and laughing, and then at the end of the week I got my "stipend check" and that was it for me.
Gotto hand it to that guy though, he had his occult sciencedown pat when he cooked all that shit up

I've joined three religions out of boredom. Might I suggest that this is a stupid reason to join a religion. Allthough not as bad as starting a relationship out of boredom, which I'vs also done.

i started taking 40 credits at a nearby community college...all psychology, french, sociology,and sculpture....i dropped most of em within 2 weeks

cost me a couple grand though

got couple OD's on list
and lot of other stuff which I don't remember

this is pretty sad but my old roomie and i used to do stuff like get dressed up really pretty and go out on the town. we would try to look as hot as possible... except that we would black out some of our teeth. then when guys would start to approach us we would smile or something. hee hee... so stupid... but that is what the Q was, right? stupid things when bored.
