50 Cent Disagrees With Kanye West Wed Nov 2, 5:21 PM ET
NEW YORK - Rap feuds aren't usually about differing opinions on President Bush. However, that appears to be the case between 50 Cent and Kanye West.
50 says he disagrees with West's infamous statement that " George Bush doesn't care about black people," proclaimed during a September telethon for Hurricane Katrina victims.
"I think people responded to it the best way they can," 50 told ContactMusic.com. "What Kanye West was saying, I don't know where that came from."
Instead, 50 said, "The New Orleans disaster was meant to happen. It was an act of God."
It wouldn't be the first time 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, made comments that weren't flattering of West. In a September interview with MTV, 50 — while otherwise complimentary of the popular "Gold Digger" rapper — said: "I feel like Kanye West is successful because of me."
"After 50 Cent, (hip-hop fans) was looking for something non-confrontational, and they went after first thing that came along. That was Kanye West, and his record took off."
West's second album, "Late Registration," has remained near the top of the charts since debuting Aug. 30.
50 stars in the upcoming film "Get Rich or Die Tryin," a biopic of the rapper that is set to open Nov. 9.

^right on. 'Sabbatum' is their Black Sabbath tribute album.

Re: i hate 50 cent, he says new orleans was religious mumbo jumbo
oooh anything blacksabbath has got to be worth at least listening to once...
...on the otherhand 50 cent is a schmuck. I'm a hip hop fan, but my minimum requirement is that my MC's don't have speech impediments, and have an IQ, and vocabulary that allows them to rhyme intelligently...even if it's just about fuckin' ho's, and revenge murder scenarios...
I'll spare you guys my McGangsta analysis of why dipshits like 'fi'tycent' are allowed to become media icons (well, here's the 20 cent version-he is a nonthreatening embodiment of a socially accepted sterotype.)

true, true.... but you must also consider the lyric, "your shit "bling bling", my shit "bling BLAO"!"....... the way he took the phrase "bling bling" and just took it to another level  ... he is a master of the verbal craft....
lol, ill leave this alone now :)

Look say what you will about the mans religious and social views or even his music. You simply cannot deny the genius of his economic policies and ideas...it'll be interesting to see how they go over with the U.N. during his presentation to them next month after Angelina Jolie's "Adopt every kid in the 3rd world" lecture.
I'm telling you...ole 50 will kick Alan Greenspans ASS!!!!

Re: i hate 50 cent, he says new orleans was religious mumbo jumbo
I think Kanye West is a tool, but I think 50 Cent is a tool too....the fact that he called Kanye on his bullshit statement makes him less of a tool in my eyes (and certainly less of a tool than Kanye), but still a tool nonetheless....and is it just me, or are we all reading a little too much into the phrase 'Act of God'?
Can't believe Fiddy has been shot like nine times and is still alive to tell the tale...marksmanship standards in the hood must be slippin'. Back in the day, you knew where you stood, chrome to the dome two times and all that.... :D
Actually, thinking about it again, Kanye is not a tool...he's a petulant little fuckhat.

Re: i hate 50 cent, he says new orleans was religious mumbo jumbo
eh I don't mind Kanye's music so much but 50 cent looks and sounds like someone hit him in the face one too many times with a frying pan in the face as a child. Th only thing that interested me about this man is that his mom was bi >_>

When you look at the way he tries to exploit religious cannon for profit ("Jesus Walks"), not to mention the fact that he professes to care about the way people were killed in Sierra Leon to mine diamonds ("Diamonds are Forever") yet he rocks more blood-diamonds than your local pawn shop.... he seems to be much classier than 50, he is truly the "thinking man's rapper"....
