I love dark chocolate-covered coffee beans. The real bitter ones. But I can't eat them. Now I'm really wanting one though.
I'm drinking Perrier, nuking Butternut squash, and attempting to learn some new internetly stuff.
Yeah. These are from Starbucks. Im bouncing off the walls. Wee!
mmm....squash goodness.
Tonight I made fish. Salmon is so yummy.
There is a Brazilian place near me which makes a decent grilled salmon and delivers until 4am. Which is probably not that impressive to a Vegasite, but for Los Angeles is awesome.
As silly as it seems, my dad makes the best salmon i've tasted ever. Whenever I feel like salmon I head over there :P
Also, right across from me this italian restaurant makes a killer orange roughy.
Me...I'm up working on a web comic coming out later this summer...so I'm up all night drawing very strange people, religious and occult imagery, and a whole lotta death.
More places in L.A. need to deliver late dammit. I'm sick of having to go to 7-11 to cure the past midnight munchies.Quote:

...starts to wonder what it's like to eat a coffee bean, the closest personal exposure being caffine pills
Holy crap, did I eat a lot of those when I was in Toronto over the winter. Friend of mine left this big jar of them at the apartment I was staying at, and I fucking demolished them. Between those and Tim Horton's coffee (which is more like rocket fuel with a good flavor), I didn't sleep for days. :D
Damn you, graphical smileys!
Oh yeah. You asked what I was doing.
I just finished catching up on 3 seasons of Coupling episodes, did a little work on My Big, Black Cock, and now I'm trying to get a leg up on archiving some data.
Coupling? Are you a Brit then MBBC?
Nope. Just a fan of the show. =)Quote:

Amelia, I've been trying to pretend that the abomination known as the American version doesn't exist. Thankie Jeebus that it didn't last. Ugh.
Oh god the American Version was awful...it was clear that the scripts and show ONLY work because of the chemistry the British cast has...the American cast was so insipid and horrid that not only did they manage to make a hilarious script piss poor they single handedly managed to throw away the best time slot on TV. The worst part was the fact NONE of the cast members could deliver a line...AT ALL.
Thank god the negatives of that show are now lost in some archive next to Good Morning Miami and the 1000 "Friends" knock offs that littered the 90's.
I heard somewhere that there's gonna be a remake of 'The Office' too. Just cant see it working myself, even if they use Ricky Gervais in it (just considering that he may be kept in because they always get an Englishman for the bastard role in America ~L~)
Come to think of it, pretty much everyone gets an Englishman for the bastard role, none more so than the English, so nevermind. ~L~
I hear they are doing an American version of The Office as well.
That will bomb so hard it will poison the careers of everyone involved all the way down to craft services.Quote:

Where are they going to set it? Not that we don't have a million minor cities that are the equivalent of Slough. They could set it in Gaithersburg or Chantilly (or Springfield).

Did they release Season 3 on DVD over here yet? I haven't checked in a while.
It's on its way very soon. Next few weeks if I remember correctly.Quote:

Well the whole new trend in tv shows is for American producers to watch hours and hours and hours of overseas shows to translate them for an American audience. So keep an eye out for a lot more remakes. I was watching a program about it not even a month ago. There was one company that had departments by country. One for taking shows from Japan and developing them into something for the US. One for British shows. Etc. Etc.
Just what we need...more reality shows, this time with concepts from other markets. Cause I have this sneaking suspicion this is where a lot of large networks are headed.
