Speaking of zombies

Recent zombie news. George Romero is planning a 4th zombie movie called Land of the dead. He's thinking of making it in Pittsburgh (where he currently lives these days). I'd post the link but can't yet. Its was in yesterdays pittsburgh post gazette. Googling george romero will also bring it up.

Description: zombies having taken over the world and those left alive are confined to a walled-in city that keeps out the corpse corps. Anarchy rules the streets, with the wealthy insulated and living in fortified skyscrapers.

Speaking of George Romero, there is going to be a convention in Toronto at the end of August, he will be the guest of honor, if anyone is interested. I am going, but to meet Alejandro Jodowrosky.

can't wait for another Romero flick. I just hope it's done in the same style as the others.

Ramero is planning on trying to place Land of the Dead in PA because that's were thefirst three took place. The fact that he lives there is just kinda coincidence...

can anyone reccomend good websites, for ideas on how to do horror or zombie make up ? looking for info for a project..

Ramero didn't get the permit to shoot in PA, so the "Inside the City" shots will be in Toronto, But arial shots will be PA. He's shooting some of it at Chernobyl. How creepy of a place is that?

Personally, Don't know if I could just because the thing would be trying to eat me the whole time. But yes it's technically considered Necrophelia because they aren't so much alive as animated dead. Think of a side of beef in a meat locker and some force (either magic or virus) starts making the side of beef dance. Still bits of dead cow fleash, it just moves now. Same goes for Zombies. Vampires, on the ohter hand, being UN Dead is a far trickier question.

Um, I don't mind even they tried to eat me or if it's considered necrophelia. But um action with someone on 5th day of festival ( read NO SHOWER! ) is enough :eeek: for me ...
