Hi folks! Long-time passer-by, finally decided to take my coat off. Anyways, December is my month to spring clean forum memberships, so I've hopefully got time to contribute and leave enough left for sleep! (underrated but seems to be important)

Right, let's see.. me in a paragraph without sounding like I'm trying to sell you something, and hiding the biblically huge ego behind a tiny bush:-

Male, over 30 and then some, hitched, ex-pat, 5'10 140lb, black(ishy blue) hair, double-glazed, pagan, one of the original goths but surprisingly cheerful despite scaring small children on a daily basis. I'm a digital media person, whipping people into doing everything from motion capture to typefaces, and would probably jump off a cliff if Maya pulled the plug (yeah, the avatar is one of our motion capture sessions, doing a SLTS tribute on a bored Friday afternoon). Mostly 'work' is music and movies, but when the timeclock stops it's either back to the laptop or the 'great outdoors' (climber, diver, damn fool with no life insurance.. all three titles apply).

In case anyone is thinking beyond 'sheesh, ego or what...', I'm making a point not to advertise anything on here or drop hints as to who I am, though everything above is accurate. Social interaction and debate = good, getting stalked = bad. I'm sharing what's between my ears, and interested in what's between yours. Hopefully, it'll be fun.

Wondered if anyone would notice the movies thing - to tell you the truth I could have listed reams of titles that most people think are passe, or have never heard of (buck to a dime you never saw Failsafe!) but the ones I picked are still my of-the-moment favorites, you just haven't seen them yet. It helps to work where I do, he says twirling his cape dramatically. U:e will floss your soul with razorwire, and it's got nothing whatsoever to do with Kate in wet neoprene.

Thanks everyone for the welcomes.. I may take a little getting used to, but I'm at least housetrained. As to Pirates vs. Ninjas, it has to be Pirates. Ninjas may kick ass, but nobody ever saw a Ninja treasure map.

well the simple truth is ninja's have no need for treasure maps.... they arnt retarded and keep their treasure secret, they do however stealth attack pirates and steal their maps to sell on ebay!

120 matches. None from ninjas, of course. For 25 bucks they'll even frame it (though everyone knows a treasure map should be rolled up and stuffed down your boot - glass is far from plunderproof)
