Think I Got A Director Today

OK I think I got a director for my film. Let me just tell you how difficult star "directors" are!!! You have to go through their snotty agents, etc..

But THIS director directed a film with the famous actress (that had her agent call recently), and another actress who is interested, and I got in touch with him DIRECTLY not through an agent!

Anyway, he was really nice and said that this film sounds just exactly like what he wants to do... !!!

Also the film he did with the actress was the film where she SANG and actually had a hit song from this film, so I am trying to get her to sing my song (SONGS) in my film., oh and this director also just did the latest KATE BUSH video...

So anyway, I really think this is the guy. I mean, I have TONS of directors interested, but are they going to really do it? The thing is, I just want to get the film made.

Thank you! I just get the feeling that he is really going to do it. He is perfect. He could really pull the whole thing together, which is what I need.

And he is interested in music in films, and this film is almost a musical. Actually it's sort of a gothic fantasy musical.... The coolest!

Cool....hope it all works out. Should be beneficial to have people who've worked together before in your film.

So the director actually READ the script already and he LIKED I! Here is what he said:

"I have very much enjoyed reading your script and think that it would make a strong and original film based on the subject of vampires"So this is the FIRST director who has actually READ it and liked it!!! Most people I send it to just don't say anything.

But he is not a big star director. But I mean, the star directors are impossible, I can get to them but I just don't have the clout to get them to do it.

This director says to keep him informed of any progress. See I was hoping that he might help me pull the thing together...

Well, at least he said he liked it, that's not bad!

SO now ANOTHER English director just called and he says that my script is "a masterpiece"... I am not kidding. He is taking it to some producers, he also knows the head of Miramax the one who has the script. This is what I want, I want someone to run with it, because as you all know I am really just a gothic slut!!!!

oh, a Vampire movie. My only question is, would this be of the Hollywood type, or those of Us who are into Real Vampirism? but as for you having a script looked at by a director that thinks it is great, Congrats, I would look forward to seeing a film You have made anytime Jennifer.

Well thank you!!!! I personally HATE all my headshots...

Ever since I changed the script and added more "real" dialogue, now they like it!!! I swear, there is nothing like REAL dialogue to sound REAL...
