Greetings and Salutations

Hello everyone! Noob on the board ;)

I am happy to have found Blue Blood Boards After reading some threads I can see there are quite a few kindred spirits here and I look forward to getting to know all of you.

A little about me...

A few basics:
female
computer programmer/webmistress (I'll skip the gratuitious list of alphabet soup acronyms unless someone wants to talk shop lol)
musician (rhythm guitar and vocals - I love all kinds of music with rock/metal being my favorite and country and rap my least favorite genres)
age is pretty much irrelevant in my book, it's a state of mind and Amelia - I always tell people who ask my age "old enough to know better and too young to care" ;)
currently located in the southeastern US

A couple geeky/quirky things:
I love games (everything from D&D, chess, and monopoly to mahjong and video games - my fav being RPGs and MMORPGs)
I like tomato sauce in things like spaghetti and lasagna but I hate tomatos
I prefer long dark or red hair on my men and women
I am Pagan (eclectic - I don't subscribe to one given doctrine)
I don't care for TV but I do like movies, mostly sci-fi and comedies, an occassional horror/thriller or drama
Science fascinates me, particularly things that stretch the imagination like chaos theory, zero gravity, robotics, etc.
I hate shopping.

My #1 New Years Resolution for 2006:
Spend more quality time taking care of "me" (If you've never been a caregiver that may sound a bit selfish but in reality you can't take good care of other people unless you first take good care of yourself.)

Hi there Predak and razeal!

Which RPG Predak? I played Runescape for a while, Ragnarok (not bad for an animeish quasi-3D D&D RPG), EVE (I love all the "technology" and flying battleships with BIG guns ;) ). At the moment, I'm playing ROSE (another Gravity game but the graphics and AI are better than Rag. I'm not sure I like how they combined the mage/cleric and assasin/hunter 1st level classes [even though they require the same primary stat] but we'll see.)

I'm in NC razeal - in the Raleigh area.

Only if they they get out of line, or are really naughty.. They are elusive though...

Actually inox I'm your neighbor to the south - NC. But Jaxx has some great shows so we visit the area several times a year.
