I haven't heard shit about it? is it anygood?
I heard it's really gory, and very brutal.

I heard it was better than Texas Chainsaw, better than Saw, etc, etc...
I have heard really good things, but I have not seen it myself yet.
I heard it was like watching torture... :Shh_Emoti
Or like torture watching it?
The cool thing is you really dont know what to expect going in. THe first 30 minutes I was sorta confused, thinking...isnt this supposed to be a horror movie? Then things started happening, but its not until the last 30 minutes that the movie is bloody. But man oh man...
Its like a punch in the face after that.
how did this slip past my radar, gonna have to try and catch it!
I've heard it rocks. I can't wait, so no one tell me.

I hope there are some midgets in it... havent had a good midget flick in a while... Charilie and the Chocolate Factory doesn't count.. it was many clones...
BC
watch the original willy wonka and the chocolate factory BC... theyre all seperate people... its great heh...
willy scared me in that one... what a fuckin psycho...
I heard it was one of the most disturbing horror films since Last House on the Left (which i highly reccomend, i heard theyre remaking it actually but there is no way theyll get away with showing the stuff they did in the original (if youve seen it you know what i mean)) but yeah im looking foreward to seeing this movie a great deal.
I liked it a lot. It had an good storyline (I could feel the Tarantino in it). The special fx and prosthetics were excellent. And none of that lame ass CG blood (that really disappointed me about Devil's Rejects)! It was definately better than Saw or Saw2. But the original Texas Cainsaw Massacre....it's apples and oranges. Maybe to say it is TCM for modern times would be more appropriate. As for the content being so disturbing that people got up and left, we must live in a nation of weenies. I was chowing down on gummy bears in the goriest parts. I heard they had to censor out some cannabalistic content. I highly recommend the movie.
now i want to see it... even more.. hehe... and this "last house on the left" one too fuck i love scary shit. theres not enough of it now :(
hey kidthorazine how long do you think "last house on the left" is? i think i might have found a copy online hehe... wanna make sure i can get the whole thing.
awww man, my roomie and i can't wait to see hostel, we've been seeing previews for the past couple of weeks
and man, yeah, last house on the left..... i didn't know they were doing a remake, but i'm pretty sure it won't be as good as the original... that's some messed up stuff right there
yeah, it's supposed to be inspired by Audition.. but it's still an american movie, so I imagine that it's going to be pretty tame no matter what anyone says. I mean in the 70's we had a lot of good-guy gun movies and gore, but now people are all about preserving family values (mostly because they don't do it at all, and they want to at least make thier movies seem like they do, but that's another topic).
I actually didn't like it that much... The torture scenes were really good, but limited. the rest of the story seemed like a vehicle for the torture, so i feel like there should have been a lot more of it.
well I thought I picked it up, the synopsis said it was about a naive american staying in a creepy european youth hostel...
but it turned out to be a gay porno.
this movie sucked hardcore ASS. i can't stress this enough!!!! there is nothing scary about this movie.
