wanted to add a lil to my earlier post. the show i saw sisters at with public enemy also included anthrax and gang of four. it was right after anthrax did "bring the noise" with public enemy, so they were really focusing on the crossover potential. but anyways, it was a decent show musically but there was one problem: they had sisters playing during the day! and outdoors. it was still too light out for the whole smoke machine fog thing to really be effective.Quote:

SHOW REVIEW:
Out of 10 stars the show gets a 6.75
It was okay. First of all, I hate all ages shows. They start too early. It was sold out, so it was crowded and there was no room for dancing. The sounds system was really nice (It could have been louder though). It sounded really clean. The crowd was pretty nice. Everybody was pretty excited and stuff.
Side note: I was not properly buzzed before the show started. That was a problem. I had to pay a bunch of money for beer. I was so fired-up I wanted to get totally tore-up.
They played mostly the 'Hits'. A few songs off of most of the albums. I wish they would have played Body Electric or some of the more obscure songs. I wanted to hear 'Jolline' or 'Floorshow' or anything more bad-ass than 'Detonation Boulevard'! They played WAY too much of 'Vision Thing' which is by far their worst album in my opinion. Perhaps I got my hopes up too high for this show, but I wanted it to be loud as hell and wanted Mr. Eldritch to make the $50 ticket worth while. It was good, but not exceptional.
Now I dig smoke machines as much as the next guy, and I know that's it's normal for them, but I caught sight of the band members just a hand full of times which was lame. I couldn't see shit! $30 t-shirts suck.
Don't get me wrong, I really did like seeing them live.
The Warlocks were really tight and sounded good.
(Chicago totally fucking rules!)
:)
YOU LUCKY BASTARD.. Seattle sucks
They are playing over here in the UK, but I can't afford to travel and stay over night at the nearest gig town. They're only playing 3 cities over here. Maybe they'll release a new album and do a proper tour here.
