nope. Is it HP Lovecraft based or just in the name?
Is that the one with Tori Spelling in it? I read about it and that was enough to put me off seeing it.

It's based on Lovecraft and Tori Spelling's nowhere to be found.
They went out of their way to emulate the old silent films of the era. Complete with a terrible crackling sound track, pathetic acting, weak effects, uninspired camera work etc.
It was just basically a grab bag of "How can we take a classic horror story and turn it into 40 minutes of shit?"
There is a Cthulu movie with Tori Spelling in it? Was it that one where she is a hooker college student and there is some secret or something about the guy she is with? I didn't watch it all the way through and it would be great if the Old Ones showed up!Quote:

You know I can't remember. I read a I saw U in the celebrity gossip in the Stranger. Some movie she was shooting in Tacoma. I think it mentioned Lovecraft, buuut then again it might have just been a prayer for the Old Ones to eat the set before her acting could infect anyone with the runs.Quote:

In it's own way, it perfectly resembles the 1920s stuff. But, to be honest, there's no excuse of doing it in the way this group have.

I like his work...just don't say that name...(C...) makes me shiver...
I love H.P Lovecraft... But just about every movie based on his work has sucked worse than Earthsea.
