What is your favorite part of the body for a tattoo? I think scalp tattoos are really sexy. This is partly because I like mohawks, but also because the collector could change lifestyles and let their hair grow in and there would still be this secret wild thing you could find out with two fistfulls of their hair in your lap.
The face... those maori tattoos on the face always go straight to my heart. It's daring, rare even in San Fran, and eye-catching. I love them.
Girls with neck tattoos.
I like tattoos that follow the curve of a womans side onto the hip then the thigh.
leg or thigh -- then I can drop my pants in the middle of the bar for a more acceptable reason than "I felt like it."
The back of the neck does it for me.
I always kinda liked knuckle tats for some reason.
"My Name" on your anything...no no...like the story about the guy at the bar who makes the bet. "I'll bet that I have your name tattooed on my d*ck." Pulls it out only to display the words..."Your Name" tattooed boldly. Love that story.
Neck.. kinda behind the ear.. I agree with Forrest on the knuckles.. ok.. I just like em anywhere as long as they are done well.
The skull...done right it looks amazing.
I like tattoo's that are hidden ..when I am with someone intimately I feel special because I may have never seen it ...so I guess anywhere hidden and inconspicuous would be my favorite place for a tattoo.
I love tattoos, just about anywhere as long as the work is good. I originally said I was only going to get them on my chest... well that plan wet out the window. I guess my ultimate favourite place is on the neck of a female. Its taboo and hot as hell.

On Females I think it would have to be on the small of their back or on their thighs and on men I would have to say on their shoulder blades or their abdomen

i wanted mine on the small of my back but it had to be put a little higher as there is an ivy trail that would have gone down my crack...

anywhere on the entire body EXCEPT for the damned lower-back. Lower back tattoos (LBT's) on girls are always the same old thing - some "picked-it-off-the-tattoo-shop-wall" tribal doodad plastered above the butt, that means absolutely nothing. ("but i think it looks prettyyyyyyyy!") ugh. I think like every single female I know has one. Maybe that's why i'm so bitter about them.

I like upper shoulder backpieces a lot. They obviously have to be meaningful and well done artistically, since they are so central and large, but I really like them a lot.

Ok, so I agree with this but I also disagree. i think it totally depends...those chicks who only get these kinds of tattoos that truely mean nothing...they suck. Tattoos are supposed to mean something, not just act as a trendy decoration. Most of the dumbass girls I went to university with had one there that had NO meaning and it was their only tattoo. no, but seriously...I LOVE tattoos on boys. I prefer larger work to bunches of smaller pieces. Eclectic full body suits are the coolest. My bf has a paul booth sleeve, traditional designs on most of the rest of his body and he's saving his back for a big colorful portrait of kali.
Tattoos on girls can be sexy too. I really like tattoos that accentuate a woman's curves. Something pretty and symetrical on the front of the hips or a well done wide lower back band is really nice. Wrist and ankle tattoos are always good too.
I would actually probably be more heavily tattooed if I weren't doing the stripper thing. When I retire from that I actually have a rough outline of a backpiece that I think I want Juli Moon to do. I also want matching super heroin arm bands that look all shiny with a big pink stone in the center (one for each bicep). I have a weird symetry issue so I could never have a tattoo on my body that wasn't exactly mirrored on the other side - hence the matching ankle tattoos and of course both nipples match.

one of the worst spots is on the sides of the neck, i've seen very few people that have done that and had it look good.
