a bad day at work gets worse
So i work as a house keeper at some hotels on the local canadian forces base. The place was already busy as hell plus me and most of the staff on that day had to have a 3 hour course on customer service so almost nothin was done b4 lunch and we have to have all the rooms done by 3.
Just before the course was over the power went out, it was supposed to be a scheduled power out that would last for 1 hour in order to fix a hydro pole that was damaged in the wind storm the night before. None of the washrooms have windows so for 3 hours we were cleaning them by light of glow sticks.
When the power finally came on the fire alarm went off. Remembering fire drills from school i put away my cart and went to go downstairs and outside. When 10 guys come out of a room and stare at me blankly and finally one asks "What do we do?" I simply reply, trying to keep sarcasm from my voice "The fire alarms going off.....go outside" Some decide to listen some go back into the room. I get down stairs and the guys are still not outside but standing in the lobby!!!!
And they trust these guys w/ guns who cant figure out what to do when a fire alarm goes off!!!!
At least the fire cheif took note, because of their stupity they had multiple fire drills through out the night...hehehe
