It is amazing ot me as I wake up this morning to find out that it is Presidents day.. and no one (in the media) really understands what it is about... So, me being me I looked into it a little bit....

Perfect excuse to drink during my lunch today. It's my patriotic duty.
So it's not technically his birthday, and even if it was it was shuffled just so middle-management in the IRS can get their long weekends in the Hamptons.

man am i that old i remember in schol we had a lincoln and a washington day
but i was thinking what happens in the next couple hundred years
how are we going to have any more holidays with friday or mondays off
it was a bit like that futurama episode where all the blernsball players had fractions and decimal numbers because over the 1000 years all the whole numbers have been retired
i think it was a horendous atrocity to combine them and call it presidents day giving a day to all former presidents i think we ougt to have holidays on the freakin day and not have a day off if it isnt even the day just to have a monday or friday off like the 4th of july if it hits on a wednesday

everyone in on it... instead making it just plain
fucking inconvenient for those of us who don't

bedroom window had the day off, giving us
some peace and quiet to sleep in... who
would have thought someone would have
enough energy to scream at the top of their
lungs just for the hell of it at 8AM?
Hmm... no one bothered to mention Family Day
being celebrated today as well. (for my Alberta
