The unicorn wandered, looking everywhere,
Investigating for faint clues that had some worth.
She raised her head listening by that silent pool
For the sounds of other unicorns on this earth.
Thoughtless mankind had polluted their virgin woods.
Evil men had murdered them for their golden horn.
Was she the last representative of her line?
Sadly, hopelessly, wandered that lonely unicorn.
Would the unicorn finally become extinct?
Yet another species destroyed by human greed?
She explored throughout the earth looking for her mate.
They could reestablish unicorns with her seed.
