Food You Miss
Okay, since we have a thread on friends from school that we miss (or wish they'd died). I've got a little story for you. My dad works for Burlington Northern Santa Fe dispatching trains. Through different promotions and transfers I lived in 3 different states and went to 11 different schools. But every city/state that I lived in had its own specialties that I miss a lot.
Stuff I miss in respected cities.
Chicago: Italian Beef Sandwiches, Chicago Style Hot Dogs, Deep Dish Pizza, Gyros.
Fort Worth: Tommy's Hamburgers, Whataburger, Steak Fingers, and this thing called "Azle Fries" (at this restaurant called Mark Deans in Azle TX, seasoned french fries, fried onions, and fried jalapenos, topped with cheese and served with ranch dressing, I feel my arteries hardening already)
I can't say anything about Kansas City cuz I live near it. But you guys that have lived in more than one state, you guys miss the food from where you lived?

i miss the old sunny delight. once they started putting actual organic ingrediants in they ruined the sweet sweet synthetic flavour.

I miss Barney's, Starbucks be damned. I miss the Steak and Shake and Bizzaro's Pizza, and Pat's Greek Cafe. I miss Ashley's (great resturaunt) and Bunky's (the best wings on the coast) and Frankies (second best wings) Sonny's BBQ and Charlie and Jake's BBQ. And Donatello, think the resturaunt fomr Sopranos, in Tampa. Good lord, now I'm really hungry.

Re: Food You Miss
My mom's cooking ROCKED. I live 3,000 miles away from her so I miss her cooking.
I also miss the local pizza joint's special buffalo wings. I've eaten buffalo wings at a lot of places but this pizza joint made them especially good. Now it's been out of business for a while (5-7 years) and no more buffalo wings.
